Objective

This guide explains how to use Environment Regions on Ruk-Com Cloud PaaS, with ordered procedures and practical verification points.

Before you begin

• Sign in with an account permitted to manage the relevant environment.
• Confirm the target environment, region and resources before saving changes.
• Create a backup or rollback plan before changing a production system.

Ruk-Com Cloud PaaS enables hosting providers to group different types of hardware within the confines of the same platform, which helps in building diverse and complex cloud solutions accordingly.environment regionsEach set of hardware can vary in capacity, price, and location but is still managed through a single infrastructure.

However, the concept is quite simple and brings many advantages. You can choose the most appropriate hardware for your hosting app. Considering:

• Geographic location- For better response times and wider distribution of services
  
• Quality and capacity- To adjust hosting conditions to meet current needs, such as cheaper hardware - For development and testing Superior hardware - for productivity
  
• price- To choose the most suitable price according to the available budget.

Selecting the Environment Region

In case your hosting provider offers multiple environment regions, you can click on the select list.drop-downOn all frames whose goal is to start creating a new environment:

• Topology wizard

• Marketplace

• Import Environment

- The number/name/description/parameters of specified regions are determined by each hosting provider individually. Therefore, it may vary for different Ruk-Com Cloud installations.

- When selecting specific hardware, the environment domain (shown next to the environment name) may also change depending on regional settings.

Select the region provided. (It's recommended to find out details about each region in advance) to automatically place your environment there. After creation you will see your new environment on the dashboard with a small icon:
