Environment Groups are designed to categorize environments in your dashboard. This functionality is intended to make administration of created and shared environments easier, providing a clear view of your project and landscape components.

Such categorization can be achieved by creating special user-defined tags and attaching them to the appropriate environment. Here, tags represent words or phrases that are displayed within a separate dedicated column in your dashboard by clicking on the desired tag. You can quickly filter your environment by one or more attributes to differentiate it (e.g. stack type, project relationships, etc.). development process, etc.)
