This guide explains how to use Eclipse Plugin Installation on Ruk-Com Cloud PaaS, with ordered procedures and practical verification points.
Before you begin
- Sign in with an account permitted to manage the relevant environment.
- Confirm the target environment, region and resources before saving changes.
- Create a backup or rollback plan before changing a production system.
Getting started with the Eclipse plug-in You will need to install the plug-in and authenticate with your Ruk-Com Cloud account in settings, so open your Eclipse IDE and follow the guide below.
Installing the plug-in
1. Open pageEclipse Marketplacewith the Jelastic PaaS plugin through your browser and clicking a button.installOr drag the install button to your Eclipse workspace.
2. In the opened frame, you can check and edit the list of installed software. Then clickConfirm
3. The following steps require you to read and accept the license terms.
4. If you receive a security notification, click Install anyway to continue and wait a few seconds for this to complete.
5. Restart Eclipse IDE by clicking the button.Restart Nowto apply changes That's all, you have finished installing the plugin.
Authentication with credentials from Ruk-Com Cloud account
Get started by connecting the plugin to your account. Go toWindow > Preferences > Jelastic Preferences
In the tab that opens Enter your email and password into the fields and select your Ruk-Com Cloud hosting provider from the available list (for Public Cloud) or manually type a custom host (for Private Cloud).
Click the buttonApply and Closeto confirm information Once the Jelastic Eclipse plugin is installed, you can easily manage your environment and deploy new projects without switching between the IDE and browser.
