Migrating From Another Web Host

§ 01How to request a migration

  1. Check that the service you want to migrate still has at least 1–2 days left. If it has already expired, the current provider may suspend it, which prevents us from accessing and moving the data.
  2. Order the service from Ruk-Com.
    • If you also want us to transfer the domain, we recommend ordering the domain after the hosting migration is complete.
  3. Contact our support team through the ticket system and ask us to migrate the data, including the following details:
    • The service the data should be migrated into — the domain name or the invoice number of the order.
    • Control panel credentials (DirectAdmin, cPanel, Plesk).
    • FTP credentials.
    • phpMyAdmin credentials.
    • For WordPress websites, an account with Administrator privileges (username and password).
  4. Avoid changing anything on the website while the migration request is in progress, so no content is lost.

§ 02Turnaround time

Once we receive your details through the system and confirm that the credentials work, we reply to confirm that the migration is under way. After that confirmation, the migration itself is completed within 24 hours.
