- Domain reservation
- After you register , your domain will automatically be placed on the nameservers provided by the company, and internet users who type this domain will be redirected to a “coming soon” page (collectively referred to as “parking a domain” or “parked domain”). There is no charge for placing the domain in this state. You consent to and authorize the company to place the “coming soon” page and related content on the domain you have reserved. You can change the nameserver assignment (or cancel domain placement) after registration is complete. If you wish to register nameservers using the domain you are currently registering, these names will be placed with the company while awaiting nameserver resolution after domain registration is complete, using your manager account.
- If your domain reservation has expired, it will no longer be valid. If you are able to renew the domain name, you can update the domain name server assignment back to its original state after expiration. However, before renewal, the domain may be placed on an “expired” page (collectively referred to as “parking a domain” or “parked domain”). There is no charge for placing the domain in this state. By not renewing the domain, the company may place the “expired” page and related content on the placed domain. You can change the name server assignment (or cancel domain placement) after the renewal is complete. If you wish to register domain name servers using the domain you are currently renewing, these names will be placed with the company while awaiting name server correction after the domain renewal is complete, using your manager account.
- “Coming soon” and/or “expired” pages may contain advertisements and other content selected at the company’s discretion, which may include third-party websites, third-party product and service offers, and/or internet search engines. The company reserves the right to retain all revenue generated from such advertising and other content.
- DNS Wildcard: If you use the company’s DNS management service and do not define DNS name servers for your domain, the company may insert wildcard DNS entries to resolve your subdomains that cannot be resolved manually. The company may point those subdomains to web pages that may contain advertisements and other content selected at the company’s discretion, which may include third-party websites, third-party product and service offerings, and/or internet search engines.
- Renew registration
- Renewal Obligation: You are solely responsible for ensuring that your domain and any additional services are renewed before their expiration. If you wish to renew, you may do so at any time before the expiration date. The Company will not be liable to you or any third party in connection with the renewal, including but not limited to any failure or error in the renewal process.
- At the sole discretion of the company, you may be notified when renewal fees are due. If these fees are not paid within the time specified in the renewal notice or notification, your registration will be cancelled. Payment must be made using an alternative method as specified on the renewal form. If your billing information is incorrect, you will be solely responsible for any failure to renew.
- Automatic Renewal: You agree that if you pay for any of the services provided herein with a credit card or other payment service (such as PayPal), you authorize, but do not bind, the Company to automatically charge your credit card or payment service account and renew the associated service(s) on or before the renewal date using the credit card or other acceptable payment information you provide to the Company, unless you notify the Company that you do not wish to participate in the Company’s automatic renewal process. The Company must receive notification of your intention to opt out (opt out) no later than sixteen (16) days prior to the renewal date. If no such notification is given by you, the Company will automatically renew for a period of one (1) or two (2) years, as determined by the relevant registrar, depending on the TLD or ccTLD of your domain name. Any domain that is due for renewal will be charged to the credit card or payment service account you have registered with the Company at the Company’s current rate. You are solely responsible for the credit card or other payment information you provide to the Company and must immediately notify the Company of any changes that occur (e.g., changes to the expiration date or account number). If your credit card or payment service account expires or is invalid, you are solely responsible for any failure to renew, and the Company will not be liable for your failure.
- Your domain name has expired. You agree that we may include our contact information in the WHOIS output for expired domain names as failure to renew results in immediate cancellation of the registration and loss of all rights to the domain name. If you choose not to renew your domain name, you agree that we may renew and transfer the domain name to a third party on your behalf at our sole discretion (“ED Transfer”).
- New customers through domain auctions or broker partners and/or ED Transfers: If you are registering a domain name registered with us and it has not been removed by the Company at the time of purchase, you acknowledge and agree that your registration period will be one year from the original expiry date for the domain name immediately before you purchased it. Because the registration is a result of an ED transfer (as defined above), you will not be compensated for the inability to use the domain from the time the domain expires until the time you can use the domain in your account. Note: You may not transfer your domain name to another registrar for sixty (60) days from the date of the previous transfer.
- Domain Dispute Resolution Policy
- You agree to be bound by the appropriate domain dispute resolution policy (“Dispute Policy”) applicable to your chosen domain, including similar domain name dispute resolution policies which can be found here. Dispute policies are developed by ICANN and/or the specific registry administrator and incorporated by reference in this registration agreement. Certain disputes are governed by their respective dispute policies. In the event of such a dispute, you agree that you will be liable to the provisions of the relevant Dispute Policy in effect at the time a third party disputes your domain registration. You further agree that in the event of a domain dispute with a third party, you will be indemnified and held harmless in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in the relevant Dispute Policy. The Dispute Policy may be amended at any time by ICANN or the relevant registry administrator, and your continued use of the domain registered with you after such amendment to the Dispute Policy will be deemed your acceptance of the amended Dispute Policy and this registration agreement. If you do not accept any such changes, you may request the cancellation of your domain registration or transfer it to another domain registrar. For the resolution of disputes relating to or arising out of the use of a second-level domain name (“SLD”), the SLD holder shall file a petition with the jurisdiction of the court of (1) the SLD holder’s domicile without prejudice to any other jurisdictions that may be relevant, and (2) the location of the Registrar. You also accept the ICANN’s Uniform Rapid Suspension (“URS”) rules and agree to file any action initiated under the URS, if any.
